Committee duties: The Health and Human Services Grant Advisory Committee was created to devise a funding plan to ensure accountability of organizations awarded funds; provide fair and equitable funding to emerging and established not-for-profit organizations that are working creatively on "need-based" issues and concerns; and supply recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners for annual budgeting purposes.
Membership: 5
Member Types:

Five (5) members who are current members of existing boards and committees or members or representatives of other governmental organizations, including the Children's Services Council, Elder Affairs Coordinating Council, Library Advisory Board, the Transportation Disadvantaged Coordinating Board, and the Lake County Health Department.

Term length: Depends on term limits from member's service on the other board or committee
Financial disclosure: Not required
Meeting times: As needed, typically once a year
