The primary mission of the Office of Procurement Services is to facilitate the County departments and agencies in obtaining the appropriate quality commodities and services they require to successfully accomplish their respective missions, goals and objectives in the most timely manner at the lowest total cost of ownership within legal and ethical parameters.

Notice: In April 2008, the Lake County Board of County Commissioners (BCC), through its Office of Procurement Services, finalized a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Policy and Manual for projects utilizing Department of Transportation funding or grants. As part of the annual update process for the DBE Manual, a public comment period of forty-five (45) days is provided to enable the public to submit comments regarding the procedures and goals currently expressed in the Manual. That period is now on-going. The current DBE Manual can be viewed or downloaded by use of the link below.
