To receive a marriage license in Lake County, visit one of three offices of the Marriage License Division of the Lake County Clerk of Court. The Division receives marriage applications, issues licenses and performs marriage ceremonies.
The three offices of the Division are: Lake County Public Records Center, 122 E. Main St., Tavares; Clermont Branch Office, 1206 Bowman St., Clermont; North Lake Branch Office, 902 Avenida Central, The Villages. Offices are open Monday through Friday (except legal holidays) from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but are closed for lunch from 12 to 1 p.m. Call (352) 253-2648 for more information on marriage licenses.
