The Information Technology Department exists to provide the County with cost-efficient technology solutions.
The divisions within the Information Technology Department include:
IT Business Office
The Division handles budgeting, bill paying, staffing, training, planning, contract management, asset management, records management and other day-to-day operations within the Department.
The division is also responsible for maintaining County servers along with providing desktop support to more than 750 desktops and
laptops throughout the County. Helping maintain electronic communication amongst employees and citizens is one of their primary roles.
Geographic Information Services
This Division creates and maintains spatial information to aid in the creation of maps and data analysis to support County departments and their
Programming and Application Support Services (PASS)
This Division enables process redesign and automation through the use of technology. They are also responsible for maintaining installed applications
and databases throughout the County and promoting the DataOne initiative.
