Responsible for providing professional and courteous customer service. Reviews, verifies, approves and processes information and documents submitted to apply building permit applications and issue permits. Responsible for compiling and verifying legal documents necessary for permitting, issuing permits and maintaining related records and reports, and performing related clerical tasks as required. This position may be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.
Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Requires high school diploma or GED with three (3) years of related experience.
Must possess or be able to obtain Notary Public certification.
May require a valid Florida driver's license.
