Public Works - Environmental Services - Stormwater

Performs technical duties associated with mapping County flood zones and processing permits for flood zone construction. Responsible for interpreting floodplain regulations for customers, researching and determining flood elevations of parcels of unincorporated property, processing construction permit requests, maintaining accurate and up-to-date flood management records and databases, and performing related technical and clerical tasks as assigned. This position may be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.
Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Requires associate degree in environmental engineering technology, engineering technology or a closely related field with two (2) years of related experience.
Requires a valid Florida driver's license.
