The Office of Human Resources & Risk Management recruits for vacant positions. The hiring department reviews all applications electronically, selects applicants for interviews, and then schedules the interviews.
If you have ever plead no contest to, or been convicted of, a first degree misdemeanor or any felony, you must explain fully and give dates. A conviction will not necessarily bar you from employment, but will be weighed with respect to time, circumstances, seriousness, and the position for which you have applied. Driving histories will be evaluated in accordance with the County’s Acceptable Driving Procedure.
If you apply online, you will be sent emails confirming that we have received your email and updating you when the position’s status changes. If selected for an interview, the hiring department will typically contact you within two or three weeks after the closing date of the position.
