She created and supervises the maintenance of the Lake County Library System website and, with her friendly and helpful attitude, website users are always in the forefront! Features designed by Elizabeth for The Virtual Library allow patrons an easy link with vendors and the ability to pre-order tomorrow’s best sellers today with a simple click. Her talent and expertise is exhibited through many programs such as Books by Mail –allowing books via U.S. Mail; online newsletters of all 15 libraries – front page highlights automatically forwarded to social medias; Admin Portal - making updating website information easy; and Lake’s BookFest – a world class site that attracts best-selling authors and sponsors. Elizabeth’s friendly and open approach to even the most challenging projects make the collaborative effort effective and worthwhile. Her dedication to remaining current on technology in order to improve the County’s online experience in spite of budget limitations shows her commitment to her work and the public. Elizabeth is constantly able to translate effectively creative solutions in order to produce functioning websites while maintaining the original vision for the County’s online communications and presence.
