Project Description: The purpose of this solicitation is to select a qualified Contractor to assume total responsibility for the inspection, testing, preventative maintenance, and repair of existing heating ventilation & air conditioning (HVAC), walk-in coolers, water fountains and ice machines, owned and operated by Lake County Board of County Commissioners; and to install new or replacement HVAC, walk-in coolers, water fountains and ice machines as may be ordered by the County, There are no chiller HVAC systems that are part of the contract. Such services will encompass furnishing adequate and appropriate labor, all needed parts and materials, supplies, equipment, and supervision for the performance of the projected work. This service will also include any and all travel, trip, and or delivery charges to any of the Lake County Government Facilities throughout the County. This scope of services represents the minimum standards required. The Contractor shall ensure that all HVAC systems, Ice Machines, and Walk-in Coolers covered under this solicitation are kept in good working condition and will remain at all times operational. Vendors are advised that this procurement action will be formalized by an agreement. A sample agreement is provided in Attachment 5 of this Request for Proposal.

Submitting a Downloaded Bid Request
After downloading and completing the solicitation document(s), submit the original and the required number of copies in a sealed, envelope/package to the Office of Procurement Services. The envelope must include the project number, the closing date, and the proposer's name and address. A proposal submitted by telephone, fax or electronically will not be considered for award. The proposal package must be received and time-stamped in the Office of Procurement Services on or before the closing date and time.
